PERFECT SLICED BREAD
As the saying goes, “there is nothin’ better than sliced bread.” But homemade bread can be tricky to slice. It is so fresh and soft that if you are not really careful it can end up a squished mess. Often times the slices end up different sizes making it hard to find a match for sandwiches. Either they are too skinny or too thick but getting them just right can be a challenge.
I make almost all of our bread so when I found this bread slicer one day while visiting Lehman’s in Kidron Ohio, I was very excited. My electric knife fits easily between the grooves and now every loaf is perfectly sliced.
It is one of my favorite, and most used, kitchen gadgets and I wanted to share it with you in case you too are looking for perfect sliced bread.
